About Me

I came to therapy through a winding path that included a decade behind the scenes in film and photography productions and a deep fascination with the stories people carry. I was drawn to the way light and shadow could reveal truth, the way a single frame could capture something essential about being human. Before that, I worked as a youth counselor, an age group that I still love working with today.

My curiosity about human experience eventually led me to Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I immersed myself in psychodynamic and depth-oriented approaches to therapy. I was particularly drawn to the emerging field of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, which became the focus of my master's thesis. I've continued deepening my training in psychedelic-assisted therapy through Polaris Insight Center and Fluence, always staying current with this rapidly evolving field.

What I Bring to Our Work

My background in visual storytelling isn't just something I used to do - it's woven into how I practice therapy. I'm trained to notice the subtle details, the moments between words, the stories that haven't been told yet. Working with creative individuals feels natural to me because I understand the particular challenges and gifts that come with a creative life.

I've always believed that music has the power to reach places that words sometimes can't. You'll often find music playing a meaningful role in our sessions, especially during ketamine-assisted therapy. There's something about the right piece of music that can help someone feel less alone, more connected to themselves, or simply held in a moment of difficulty.

My Approach

I don't see therapy as something that happens to you - it's something we do together. Your life, your relationships, your struggles, and your dreams are all part of a story that's still being written. Sometimes we need help seeing the patterns, understanding the themes, or finding new ways to tell the story.

Whether we're working together in traditional talk therapy or exploring the deeper territories that ketamine can open up, I'm interested in helping you discover what's truly yours - your authentic voice, your innate wisdom, your capacity for healing and growth.

A Personal Note

I believe that everyone carries something beautiful and strong within them, even when life has made that hard to see or feel. My job isn't to fix you or solve your problems - it's to help you reconnect with your own capacity for healing and create the life you actually want to live.

I'm honored to be part of that process with you.
